- At the biggest cross industry event the world has ever seen, Infogrames and its odd Atari label connected with Warner Brothers Studios to debut Enter the Matrix. By capitalizing off the most intense collaborative effort between film, game makers, and animators, the Wachowski Brothers have created a movie, a videogame (via Shiny Entertainment), and a series of animation shorts (titled The Animatrix) that all tie together to tell the newest chapters of The Matrix trilogy.Enter The Matrix looks to offer gamers some of the most impressive production values seen in a videogame-movie collaboration ever. That's a big statement, but the game, however, looks to be mostly aimed at casual players and truly diehard fans of the fiction. If gameplay manages to live up to the standards set by the title's outstanding production levels, then we're all in for a really good treat. If Shiny can pull this off, it'll be one of the biggest success stories in a long while.
